It was midnight when I called the birthing center for the birth of my 4th child. I was so relieved to have heard Casey’s voice on the other end of the phone. She was the calm presence that I needed and wanted to get me through the last few parts of my labor. One of the most important aspects of labor and delivery for me was my support system. I knew very well that it can really make or break a mom’s birthing experience so having the right midwife was vital. Casey provided me with good, positive energy and made me feel empowered and strong, while simultaneously giving me the space I needed to birth my child, my way. I felt loved, safe, and supported the entire time. She always listened to my needs, anticipated my wants, and together we birthed my baby boy in a serene and gentle environment. It was a great birth experience.
